Right now people are up and arms about relics due to their abilities being seen as “niche” and/or “underwhelming” or complaints and the aesthetics, rank up costs, game modes they can be used in, etc.
unfortunately what I’m mainly seeing are whales exploiting end game players driving up a market for 5 star relics for the sole purpose of PRESTIGE while most other players are apathetic towards relics do to predetermined biases or a lack of accessibility. The roll out for relics has been a low-ball to the extreme hence why a “TB crystal” only includes 3-5 star relic crystals.
There’s a dramatic difference in potency between a 3 or 4 star relic (that we have a 97+% chance of obtaining) vs the 6 star 2’s (requiring top ranking in battlegrounds and additional help) that are being advertised to us, I don’t see how the majority of the player base can possibly evaluate relics as is.
