Matchmaking Parameters in BG

Not to beat a dead horse, but what exactly are the matchmaking parameters for battlegrounds? I have tried literally every combo... played it straight with my top 30 champs, used a deck of all 5* and 4*, and I even tried sandbagging a few rounds just to see if that would get a win. Nothing I do gets a fair match, and I'm sick of using Elder Marks just to go up against a bunch of R4 Paragon players who can smoke me in seconds. So what parameters are actually in place?

I'm not sure, in the past sandbagging was a good strategy. But it's a lottery with 2*s in half the deck.

This is my deck now, I mostly face significantly stronger opponents, but it's perfectly fine in Diamant1.

Only a selected few high/max sig 5/65s in the deck…they can be troublesome for some players, but whales have good counters.

My personal favorites are Angela, Doom and Falcon...I often get to use them 😍
