Knull and Despair

I don't really use Knull much, even though he's r3 and sig 188. When I saw the nodes for BG this week, I was like "Great, Knull with 3/3 in despair shold be easy". However, he doesn't seem to be inflicting heal block when they regenerate even when they have a ton of living abyss debuffs. I'm sure I'm missing something. Can someone enlighten me?

Despair caps at -100% regen rate while most people have 115% regen rate due to the recovery mastery so 15% still gets through.

Despair only reduces by 100 % . This meta has like 150% increased. Do it barely does anything
