Health recovered from fight disappeared once over

I was just using Hyperion and towards the end of the fight decided to use my 3 cosmic charges to get him back up to full health. I was at about 75% when the healing started and ended the fight somewhere around 92ish%. The heal buff had almost finished when I launched an SP3 to finish off the enemy. Once the fight was over Hyperion went back to 75%.
