Should Battlegrounds introduce minimum contribution points for each Milestone reward?

With the Banquet event, we saw that the introduction of minimum contribution points to earn each milestone & rank rewards. Do you think this system should be used in BG seasons as well?

No, don’t change anything.

Due to the AW season end time etc… it would be ridiculous to punish people for switching alliances after the season with only 4 days left in BGs or whatever it would be.

Honestly though, the alliance rank rewards aren’t great for battlegrounds anyway.

It should. But bgs should run on the same schedule as alliance war.

As someone that finished in top 350 solo points i don’t think there should be a minimum to qualify for ally milestones. Let the ally decide on what’s best for them and their members.

Although a cool feature would be to let the officers and leader set the qualifying amount before the event starts. Say the ally agrees the minimum is 100k per person, then you have to do 100k minimum to receive any milestones. 🧐

Minimum contribution has been around for events before. It’s not a new thing. But bgs is fine as it is

This sounds like a post from someone who loves bg but hates the fact some ppl in his/her alliance doesn't love it as much so only does one or two to get on the alliance scoring chart. Regular alliance events should be for all so no minimum scores for events like this. I hate arena so will only do one rd in order to get alliance rewards. Others will grind for days, each to their own. Remember, you benefit as an alliance if you all get decent rewards. Share the love buddy.

There's too much settling and adjusting for players who hop alliances every event. What about something to encourage and even reward players who are loyal to their ally?

I’d love to see quite a few changes.
Battle Grounds and AW on the same schedule.
AQ changed to 4 days on 3 days off, with it always starting on Monday.

Be some great quality of life changes for me.

Why though? People should have the freedom to choose how much they want to contribute, its up to the alliance to determine whether that's enough or not.

But why? Every alliance should determine that on it's own.
Having a minimum contribution system, will make BG like a chore.

To add to this;

It's named 'alliance event rewards' because everyone in the alliance gets them. It isn't there to reward indivual contributions, that's what solo events are for.

The reason minimum contribution gates were added to this event is because of how valuable the milestone rewards are. It would "break the game's economy", as some would put it, if someone spent 4000 points total and ended up getting the abyss nexus.

IMO they shouldn't put this kind of gate on a regular seasonal bg alliance event.

Do your own policing within your alliance. Don't make every alliance suffer that way. If you want to require minimums to encourage bg participation, then state it and boot people until you get what you want.

Why force something game wide when different people bring different things to the table within an alliance. Forcing everyone to do minimums defeats the purpose. And those of us that don't care for it for ourselves or our alliance shouldn't be forced into it.

Put on your big boy pants and make rules for your alliance if you care that much about it. And actually enforce them. If you want to be that kind of alliance, then go for it.
