As an active player from nearly the beginning, BGs is my favorite aspect of the game. After scaling back my game play for quite some time due to the monotony and time commitment needed to actually progress in AQ/AW and arena (all of which were somewhat addressed by removing nodes, shortening timers, adding multiple arenas to spread the love etc), BGs completely lured me back in. Love the roster vs roster, playing against real players, strategy, etc.
My feedback mainly is by reeling things in a bit, the game can be much more enjoyable. I love the aspect of having to rank obscure champs to meet specific meta requirements. Makes some of my old sour pulls actually become viable for a few weeks! But sometimes, these nodes can feel like overkill.
30s armor up timer is a challenge, and would still be a challenge if it was 10s (but the entire short match wouldn't be scrapped after 10 hits for most champs). Good job on the meta, but overkill on the timer imo. 10s would have still required the strategy, but not destroyed the entire match for most people.
Points weighted from match length are also overkill. I think there should be a moderate bonus for finishing a match quickly (to act as a tie breaker in a close scoring match). But the heavy weight on time points make a lot of really good champs and counters non-viable, as they require ramp-up time, damage over time etc. Always favors the champs who deal lots of damage quickly, which doesn't really reward the player who may have played the match better.
Anyways, I don't expect anything really. Just want to drop my 2 cents. Cheers!
