Let us discuss... the Iso crisis... again

You need to understand that ISO, like any other resource, requires a mean of acquisition, storage, usage and overall management. The most straightforward answer I can give you, without being a complete ass, is that if you're lacking ISO or gold, it generally means that you dont play enough of the game.

ISO comes from opening crystals. Crystals come from playing various game modes. The more game modes you play, the more resources you get. If you dont play a lot, you wont get "a lot" of resources.

In real life, if you dont have money, you cant buy food, housing, transport, clothes. You work for a paycheck and you manage that paycheck. Sometimes you can eat steak, sometimes you eat beans (shoutout to BG).

Play more modes, farm more and your ISO problem will start to solve itself.

You cant eat steak if you cant afford it.

There has not been an increase in iso for years while the amount needed has tripled if not more. Acquisition of gold has increased by quite a bit, Acquisition of catalysts has increased. Everything but iso. Im not asking to take a champ from r1 to r3 every day, but 2 or 3 times a month would be nice, not to mention r4's.

Even 6 stars at higher levels. The fact remains that people want to get enough ISO and gold for R3 6* by playing 15 minutes a day. That's not how economy works.

Again, if you work a minimum wage job, dont expect to buy a Tesla anytime soon.

There is no iso problem. If you have it then you're probably trying to level up any champion you own immediately instead of waiting for the right moment

They underline my stupidity on posting on a forum where people who compare non purchasable items like iso to teslas and steaks. The very problem is that iso is not purchasable except with glory. But lets stick to your analogy so that u can understand. One working minimum wage for the same amount of time as someone who is a ceo of a datamining industry will, of course not live lavishly. This is called environment, not time. See a game provides a certain environment, in this case, less than optimal for those who wish to play less than 3 or 4 hours a day. If a meta or variable such as this new bg that requires many rank ups forces a higher demand of material, which if not met, results in a deficit. Keeping iso acquisition static across dupes from 4 to 6* while greatly increasing demand does not make sense.

Did one rank up in the past half month, on a level up event, nick fury to r3. Im not pointing out a problem based off just its lone standing, im pointing out discrepancies. This bg meta pushes for immediate change without allowing for that. Its great that all the forum warriors play 5 hours a day, but do some math, for how much you get from a 6* dupe, how much from a 4* how much is needed to rank either one up. Four stars are easy to get, but dont appear in greater number as players progress, none in BG store, none in side event. Same goes for iso

You are completely missing the point of the analogy. This game revolves around economy, resource management.
If you dont have enough ISO, it just means you dont earn enough rewards, if you dont earn enough rewards, it means you dont play a lot. I understand you dont want to play 4+ hours, that in itself means you wont get the rewards that playing those 4 hours give you.

If you play 15 minutes only, its fine and its your choice. But be aware that you will receive the rewards that those 15 minutes entail.

Big rosters require big dedication. Small dedication results in small rosters. I really cant understand how this is hard to process.

I play 2 to 3 hours a day, and still have problems, yes you are correct, rewards are proportionate to time played, but 3 hours a day is no small amount. Should it warrant a huge roster, absolutely not. Should it warrant more than taking one champ from r1 to r3 a month? For 90 hours of gametime? Yes. Im not saying decrease the time needed, im saying increase the possible ways of acquisition. Literally mentioned arena, arena grindy af, still would be a valid way to increase acquisition with decreasing time.

Grandmaster crystals give mostly 3 stars, out of 10 crystals, 20000 shards, more than arena gives i bet at least 8 gonna be 3 stars, maybe all 10 thats 20 brick, about 5 levels

If you didn't have an iso shortage you would have a gold shortage.

If you didn't have a gold shortage you would have a champion shortage or rank material shortage

That's perfect dude, we're making progress. If you play 3 hours a day, I assume you grind arenas, which means you're getting premium and grandmaster shards. I would suggest not opening crystals untill you need them. Also, I assume you only use class ISO to level up champs, if you dont, start doing that. If you have 4* shards to spare, buy dual class crystals and just store them for when you need them. Right now, throughout the year, I have a stash of at least 15 4* dual class crystals in each crystal type.

As you can see, its managing your management (as dumb as that sounds). You have to be strategic with your resources. Dont open crystals for the sake of opening, dame for rankups. Save your rankups for Level Up event.

Speaking of events, by playing 3 hours a day, focus on the type of 22 hour event. Save your arena grind for Arena event and the 8 hour smaller arena events. if theres a class advancement event, dont level up champs, sig them up or level smaller champs, 2 or 3 stars.

I know this all sounds super nerdy and obsesive, but its one of the better ways to manage your resources.

If you grind enough arena you’ll be set on iso. It kinda sucks grinding that much but the option is there. You’ll also be set on units.

The problem started when game shifted from 4* shards to 5* shards. Instead of 2000 4* shards we now get lets say 700-800 5* shards (in ALL kinds of events milestones and so on) and if you pay 10$ month you can get 1000 for 2000 (behold the GREAT DEAL)

Kabam logic is that putting 5* shards into places where there was 4* shards (at least twice less) is an UPGRADE. It would be 3-4 years ago. Now 5* is same as 4* and 3*. Useless.
So in terms of getting 24 bricks for 2000 4* shards and 10 000!!!!! 5* shards we got ,,trouble" big time.

Now i understand people developing need 5* shards and its a big upgrade for them. And i dont know how to solve it but i am sure i got the problem right.

Just that? You can get more than enough iso-8 in a day or two by just playing the game. If you're not playing, then the iso won't just pop up on your account

You also have a targeted quest you can autoplay in the background that lets you pick what ISO you are chasing in the daily quests. Further, if you want to fill out autocompletes on that quest alone every few hours after your energy has refilled, you get roughly the same amount of that ISO resource. That's on top of arenas, contributing to alliance quests, alliance war, and the alliance goals tabs that often reward crystal shards of varying levels for just playing. We also have Banquet rewards incoming in the next few days, and Battlegrounds which awards points to choose your awards for playing three times.

I get not pouring hours into the game, but if you are targeting your play and targeting a select class of ISO, there are options for you to slowly level a character over the span of a week easy.

OP isn’t wrong. ISO scaling has not kept pace with the demand for it through higher rank and higher tier champions. Nor would it be the first time someone has suggested it, either on the forums or elsewhere.

A Lot of this would be solved simply by scaling the ISO properly from 4* through 6* dupes.

With 7* looming, not sure how anyone could think this is a request that’s out of the realm of rational thought. Many of us share the sentiment without looking for a complete handout. For any Cav (and prob UC) player and above, three star champions and the nominal amount of ISO that come with them are effectively irrelevant for that purpose.
