Rintrah's Neutralize in Battlegrounds

I was fighting Magneto, and his Neutralize was up. I stopped at 8 charges to place another one on him went past 10 charges and he STILL gained an armor, all while Neutralize was still up. Anyone know how that happened?

Where on Earth does it say that in Mags kit. That doesn't even seem right. I'd get it if he was Metal lol
