Confused about how the Gauntlet works

Do I have to do all the paths at the same time to get the 4* boxes at the end? Or am I just able to finish all of the paths individually to get them? I was just kinda confused how it works. (took a long break)

Also, what team should i use?

You need to do all paths in one go. The boxes are only available if you don’t teleport directly to Thanos and do every path,
