doesn't the new difficulty level become boring for low or beginner players or intermediate accounts? don't the players leave the game, the resurrection and health pot are very few in the game, and wouldn't it be very annoying if Kabam freezes to the old one next month? who can argue that the game is going to good places right now

The game is thriving. Anyone who believes otherwise is inherently incorrect.

The team has made some poor choices this month. I can not, and will not deny that.

I feel that the BG victory track meta being tuned for end game players rather than mid game players is a major blunder.

I also feel that increasing the difficulty of the event quests was a huge blunder. They set out with the intention of making Cavalier easier, but in the process, limited progression to Cavalier.

It was because of the event quests in April and May of last year that I could jump from 1 to 3 r5 5*’s and achieve Cavalier. I then couldn’t complete Cavalier until August, which was supposed to be changed this update, and I feel it has been. It’s been exponentially easier.

However, the difficulty increase of other progression levels of EQ is astoundingly atrocious. Uncollected is hard to complete a first run of, let alone exploration for players just achieving that level of the game.

I like to give Kabam credit where it’s due, and I will admit, there are a lot of times where that is the case. But I feel that also gives me the right to point out when they do make a whoopsie, and try to point them in the direction of fixing that, whether it be built upon or not.

I feel that the best course of action is to listen to the player base here. Change the difficulty back. Don’t even need to update rewards. They should be keeping the difficulty relatively similar, so that they’re including everyone in that progression level, rather than only catering to higher end players of that progression.

If a rewards update is to come, have it be as the update came last July. In good faith, and keeping difficulty intact.

I see the game going to higher places than it is right now. Kabam makes good decisions a lot of the time. This is just not one of them, and my hope is that it is handled accordingly.
