Nimrod Broken?

Nimrod’s normal special lock ability locks your special for 1.5 seconds after filling a bar of power. However, right now in AQ and AW at least he is locking your special anytime your are hitting him. Is he currently broken? Super annoying especially on the AW node where you need to special to reset charges otherwise he stacks furies. Now that I know I can just whiff a special into his block, but it caught me off guard.

    You fighting nimrod on spaced armor where everytime you hit him while he has an armor up he special locks you?

    It was node 20 with strike counter - fury. Perhaps it did have spaced armour as well, I can’t see the node details anymore. If so, then I did not notice the details. Thanks!
