Are weekends worse?

Is it just me, or are weekends more prone to the micro-lags that cause us to miss blocks, not block after combos, not be able to double dash backwards fast enough, etc.? I've seen people complain about AQ and AW on the weekends, but I am noticing it in other places too. I don't understand why the game would play any different on the weekends. This is stuff I've done a million times before, so it isn't a lack of skill. Maybe a few times would be me making mistakes, but this is happening too much.
