If it’s easy then only size of roster matters.

It should not be easy. The gladiator track should be for the top players. Lo and behold, lower counts would get into gladiator and then complain they can’t compete.

The viceroy nodes shouldn’t be as restrictive as they were this season, but it shouldn’t be something simple either. Bane and power alternator would be a solid combo that is not dependent on roster, but skill.

Based on everything in January, it wouldn't suprise me if "Do you bleed" is next months meta.

There's no such thing as an easy Meta. it's a 1v1 game mode. There is always 1 winner and 1 loser in every match. Yes, some nodes are less challenging to counter offensively but the tradeoff is you need to put up a closer to perfect performance in order to win. In a game with lag and dropped inputs I'd prefer not having to specifically fight perfectly every time in order to win.

That being said, I would prefer a node that is a little more skill based. This one asked more of your roster and when countered properly was rendered meaningless.
