MCOC constantly closes after multitasking

This is really annoying. I go to check a message in Line and go right back to game and it restarts. I turn my screen off for a second and it restarts. I do almost anything outside of the game, get back, and it restarts. I’m running iOS 11.1.1 on iPhone 8 Plus.
Is this an iOS issue? Is this a MCOC issue? I just want answers because having to go through 4/5 menus to get back to where I was in game is quite annoying. What’s the cause of this? Any answer would be appreciated.

    I believe this was addressed at length in the september time frame, but I forget where the fault was. I noticed it a lot with iOS 11

    It's an iOS 11 issue. The new background app refresh constantly closes the app to conserve memory. It is very annoying.

    Seems to be iOS issue and yes it is awful. 5 seconds and full restart needed.

    Yeah, iOS11 issue for sure. I'm sure it'll get fixed as they update iOS.
