Thing synergy not working properly?

I've been trying out the thing cosmic synergy (Thing+Champion+Hela+Angela+Heimdall) and no matter what order do I place my champions the heimdall synergy always procs on the same time with champion synergy. Anybody know what am I doing wrong or what's wrong with the team?

Are you killing off all your non-Thing champions before going into a fight? If everyone but Thing is dead then you will have a 100% chance to gain 20% health when you die thanks to Hela and Angela. If everyone is alive it’s only a 20% chance. This regen would proc at the same time as the Champion synergy and would save the Heimdall synergy until you would die again. If that regen doesn’t proc, then the Heimdall synergy will. The Champion synergy is going to proc at 1% no matter what.

Yeah I killed off all champions except Thing before going in. But my problem is that my Heimdall death cheat kept activating on the same time with Champion synergy, prolly gonna replace Heimdall with someone else if that keeps happening.

The order you listed in your opening statement does match the order I had saved a team building screencap of which would work.

Is it maybe just against a specific champ, or a specific quest with nodes that might affect ability ?

Or else (if others could try, in general), did it maybe get broken ?

(not that in theory it always wasn’t quite right, if it always came down to which order you insert them onto team, which shouldn’t have really mattered, but it did).

I mean I tried it in against rol winter soldier again and again, still same result as I have stated above. At this point all I can think of is my thing being too weak so when the enemy make the finishing blow it just kinda triggered 2 synergies at the same time? really confused rn.
