Why can't I dex out of specials anymore?

Against Joe Fixit and Falcon I can no longer dex out of their sp1s so I'm taking stupid unnecessary damage and I can't punish their specials afterwards!

    Timing for joe fix it has definitely changed. It’s possible; try dexing a lil later than you used to.

    Against Joe fixit, yeah even i feel like i am not able to dodge, rather when i do it, my champion does nothing, but opens their block and takes hits from sp with big bleed damage
    Against falcon, huh, was that even a thing?

    Something changed after this update again. I end up parrying when trying to dex or getting hit when trying to delay to correctly parry. Earlier i tht i was off on the tming but no muscle memory dsnt make mistakes, its the gamw that has issues...i think the solution wld be to play more against aggresive opponents to change the muscle memory reactions. No other way, since i guess this is not affecting everyone, game team will action it when they can and have time for this.

    Welcome. It’s not a bad club to be in, honestly. Most of us are pretty nice, fun to be around. Common experiences, eating copious amounts of specials or combos when the inputs lag. We can share stories about raising the issue in forums only to be ignored by the team or being scoffed at by folks who don’t have input issues and think we all need to git gud.

    I don't complain about inputs. And I'm also one of those who thinks some players are going to blame inputs regardless of their mistakes.

    I have an old device, lag, stuttering, freezing etc is my territory.
    But I can differentiate between if inputs are failing or my device is causing the issue.

    Parry and Dex are not working as they supposed too.
    And this side quest is made to drain units.
    Avoid it if u see u r loosing resources quickly and a.i being strangely annoying

    I'm having issues with just dashing back in general. I barely tap the screen for a block and I end up dashing back...conversely, I do the biggest swipe back of my life and I stand still or somehow dash forward :D

    It's awful

    Kabam Team be like - yeah we listening to your complains. Ok to calm you guys down we will compensate, maybe sometime later whenever we want. But we won't find a permanent solution to end these basic bugs years after years.

    I chose this opportune moment to fight grandmaster. Getting 1 of 5 dexes timed correctly, it says dex but still get hit and 3 blunders are pushed on me. Legitimate nightmare after this update. Should have gone for TB weeks ago when the game was less problematic

    You described it perfectly. Dash back timing is off. I have zero confidence in dexing specials I normally would with ease and trying to bait specials or even dex basic attacks is a constant gamble.
    Pair that with unresponsive parry and delayed block and we have a game that is barely playable, let alone enjoyable.
    It's frustrating to say the least.

    Rhino's funky Unstoppable slide keeps catching me.

    I don't know what's up with AI dashes these days
