BG matchup problem Silver matching up with someone in Gold

Been playing BG since season 1 and I don't remember ever being match up against someone that's in a different rank not only that i currently have 5 rank 4 champ ( herc, doom, QS, valk and scorp) and for some reason I'm getting match up with people with their entire deck R4 and 1 or 2 rank 5 I hope Kabbam take a serious look at matchmaking and tweak it, most me deck is R3 and r2 6* and even some 5*-65 not I'm not sure how I'm always matching up with people with full deck of R3, and R4 6 stars, hopefully someone can explain why .

    That happens to my alliance whenever we are near the top of our tier. Matches are based on the war rating, not rosters. As you rise through competitive content, you eventually hit a ceiling.

    Became Paragon in December and prestige is 15623 , i grind arena a a lot and use my units for revives to go thru content my account is about average wouldn't consider my self a end game player only did one path of abyss still have a lot of content to be completed as far as War im in a plat3/4 alliances which shouldn't have anything to do with BG.

    Yeah, you're in the top tier of prestige matchmaking. Kabam is not searching outside of brackets to match you vs other top accounted as opposed to others in your bracket. It's pretty garbage.

    Make sense still sucks i just hate winning 2 matches then all of a sudden I'm being match up with someone with over 16000 prestige Master alliance member with 1 or 2 R5

    Just drop a few Odins on Sheilds. That's why they're doing this.

    The deck also plays some part.
    I'm Cav, prestige 10k and used 4 R3 6*, a few R2 and the rest r5 5*.
    I was facing similar decks.
    Then I changed my deck to 5* only, no 6*.
    My 5* roster is stacked with the best in game.
    With this deck I was no longer facing R3 6*, and the overall deck strengths were similar, apart from me having the upper hand with the best champs.

    lol make sense im free to play so i guess i have to grind arena for some units and see what happen so annoying lol
