Battlegrounds bugged?

There have been times my fights do not start for me and I have to wait until the opponent finishes their fight so I can take the fat LOSS. I haven't been able able to get past bronze 1 because of these ridiculous losses and it just makes it hard to continue trying this game mode. Which really sucks because there's 6* shards and stuff in the battleground store that I want to get but having a really hard time getting them because of this problem. Anyone else going through the same thing?

Had that happened a few times myself.

Make sure you dont have any VPN on your phone enabled. Heard that messes up a lot of matches.
