I've had this 1 notification forever in my feed for forums but I have no idea what discussion it is to. I'm talking months ago. Is there an easy way to get rid of it?

I had the same thing happen last month. I had to go to notifications then click “more” I believe is the option and search through them.
    Good luck

I know what I have to do...but I don't know if I have the strength to do it
  • Sometimes it might be an issue of if someone else caused a notification (ie, commented in a thread that you also had) and then got “forum banned” where their replies get removed from a post before you had a chance to click on the notification. Or the post itself got removed.
At least that's what I believe caused a several months long timeframe recently where I had a notification #’s that just wouldn’t go away.
And that # icon fluctuated, increasing occasionally from like 1 up to I think 4.

After a while, started to go back down, and eventually it is “all clear” now. (theorizing that either those people come off of their bans, or those affected posts receive new replies by others and may trigger that notification # for that thread to become cleared ??)

Would going into desktop mode and turning all notifications off and then back on fix it?

    Same here, won’t go away
  • So does turning OFF all Notification settings in your Forum Preferences page (then maybe actually going back to a page of Forum Posts), and then turning Notifications back ON ?

Does that work for you ?? (for those of you who have a persistent Notification # that won’t otherwise go away ?)

I never thought to try that a few months ago when I had a persistent Notification #.
