Can't skip story mode

So who's bright idea to make the "skip" button not skip anything?
It's so annoying! this game is too grindy as it is without having to sit through BS bubbles!

If you are experiencing what I believe I am experiencing then the button seems to still work but the actual area that you can push to be read as pushing it is much, much smaller than it was prior to this update. I thought that the skip was broken the first time I ran an EQ quest after updating but have since found that sometimes I can skip the story parts on reruns on the first try and other times I hit the button multiple times before it works which is what makes me thing the area has been changed and I am not hitting precisely where it will recognize it sometimes.

The pause button is the same for a while. Mind as well fix both at once while we're are it

Makes for an annoying xp in MEQ lol I wanted to start exploring tb eq this month for the t6cc but I'll be waiting now until this skip issue is fixed, adds far too much time to questing process for my liking
