Kraven bug?

Not sure if anyone else is noticing this but I’m doing the Thronebreaker EQ right now, Ch. 1.2, and the upper path that will connect to Kraven, in this fight he’s able to come out of his SP2 animation and his Heavy attacks faster than normal.
I can normally dash in and attack him no problem after dexing the bear trap of his SP2 and also after his knife stomp of his Heavy Attack, and now he’s blocking my dash attack somehow.
Is this a bug or am I just being late with my dash attacks? I fight Kraven all the time on Map 6 AQ and have never had this problem before…
