Battlegrounds unfair matchmaking

So I have been doing battlegrounds all day, when I get to 2 wins and almost to the next level I get put against someone who way, way, way outmatches me. For example

Keep in mind the player I was placed against is paragon with 5+ r4 s and I’m not even paragon yet? I understand that sometimes oneself is out matched, but at this level of unfairness it just makes battlegrounds dreadful and frustrating. Is anyone experiencing similar matchups?

All I see is that you’re already in gold. I’m stuck in bronze.

in season 3 . i had a 21 win streaks with 3 rank 4s in my roster. got to GC in 7 days
in season 4. i had 10 win streaks with 6 rank 4s in my roster. got to GC in 5 days
in season 5. i had 7 win streaks with 9 rank 4s in my roster. got to GC in 8 days
in this season. i won 1 out of 10 with 10 rank 4s and 1 rank 5. stuck in gold 2. lol
