Could kabam put out worse content?

It's over thought, overturned, and just another reason why people are turning away.

    Sounds like a challenge!

Not really sure how a piece of content can be released without doing any testing that basic function such as exploration works

You do realize that their test could have been flawless in their test environment? I don't know if they test their stuff, but from personal experience if it works for you in test, that does not guarantee that it will work for all users.

    ASK AND YOU SHALL RECIEVE
should be really careful what you wish for.. we still got 8 months to go and game is still buggy and inputs are still eating away at the games code. content and their "great ideas" will just add more hassle to our so called gameplay, or whats left of it that is.
as long as their "jump through hoops" SQ drop 6* awakening gems, im ok with it.. lord knows they messed up big time not bringing spring cleaning back this year. bad times to reduce the actual decent deals.

Spring cleaning happened later in April last year. The dual track pass thing has already confirmed that it will happen again. It's only April 6th. Calm down.

The fights & map design are fine...pretty good actually
But the vault, safe & code stuff is unnecessarily annoying

What? How did the dual track thing confirm it will happen again?

Lmao that's when I quit the game. Now I came back and I was like is this just my luck or have the SQs been always this messy.

It is a bit silly just to put out a short post complaining about a piece of content without providing actual examples of how something isn't living up to its potential.

Also, people on forums and elsewhere tend to jump to super early conclusions about basically everything introduced in-game. Sure, the initial drop of the month-long content wasn't perfect, and some people got confused (likely because they didnt actually read the announcement, combined with the initial bug). That doesn't alter the fact that this month's SQ has several major factors in its favor:
    1. Only 3 pretty simple fights per path.
    2. A wide variety of opponents if several are known to give you trouble.
    3. Selectable rewards, which I cannot emphasize enough (could easily have been some form of rift, which is classically disliked by much of the community), and which actually combine to be reasonably nice (6* AG anyone?).
    4. A small bit of (personally) fun detective-work that can easilly be bypassed if you don't care by just looking up the answers online.
This might be "over thought", although it really isn't a challenge to understand if you read any of the descriptions or Cat Murdock's summary infographic, but I don't see any evidence of over-tuning. It is also solidly in the middle if not upper half of SQs personally.

If one opts to get just the 6* shards path would that person be able to get the 6* AG when all is said and done? I got the impression from their post that you have to clear every path (guessing they mean chests as I've done 2 and it hadn't gone from a dotted line to a solid line like you would normally expect) to get the gem 🤔.

The detective part you mentioned is rather infuriating to be honest. I just wanna log in bash some champs around and log out when I get bored lol

Funny how little gray area there is between "hey its the same 3 monthly events all over again" and "this is too confusing" (even though it is 95% the same as many other events, just trying to "tell it as a different story".

There are things like ... map orientation... that I think Kabam wastes time on. Other than the occasional "hey its in the shape of a 4... Fantastic 4... I get it" a few years ago... 99% of the time the change doesn't do anything to the experience, and every now and then there is a busted portal which leaves summoners at 99% (happened as recently as a couple months ago)...

but different side events... I appreciate the experimentation / trying to do some different stuff. As with anything... there will be events some people will like more than others... but so far as the difficulty and difficulty/time spent/rewards ratio is "fairly consistent"... it will be all good in the end.

"If one opts to get just the 6* shards path would that person be able to get the 6* AG when all is said and done?" You'll get enough keys over the course of the month, assuming you log in every day, to fully explore two difficulties - presumably zone 4 one of the paths will have the awakening gem. There are no repeat rewards, so do each path within two difficulties a single time. The lines do not change from dotted to solid like you expect for quests, rather make sure the path you're doing hasn't had it's chest at the end collected already.

"The detective part you mentioned is rather infuriating to be honest. I just wanna log in bash some champs around and log out when I get bored lol" Then wait an hour after the event and look up the code. I watched a youtube video 20 minutes after the reset yesterday and someone had already posted the code in the comments. There's a community around this game, so you don't have to do the extra work if you don't want to.

They make a butt ton of money off of the spring cleaning event, do you really think they will pass that up and not bring it back?

You say that like there's any grey area between them at all. We've had complaints in the past that simultaneously complained about events being too complicated *and* too repetitive. Those don't have grey area between them: they overlap.

I wouldn't say this was a 100% confirmation, but the dual track event is granting premium (platinum) players extra currency called "Deadpool Bobble Baubles." The description of this currency explicitly states "... Spend Bobble Baubles in Store during Gwenpool's Bubble Bauble Blowout."

That sounds to me like Spring Cleaning with a different name.

Endless disappointment with new content. Bugged. Don’t care attitude toward players. No real updates on fixes. Makes me (and others I’m sure) contemplate moving away from this game.
