What happens when we enter wrong code in Vault?

What happens if we enter wrong code? Does the vault disappears? Can we do trial and error for guessing the code to zone 3 and maybe even zone 4? Anyone has tried?
For 0 to 9 input with 4 places, it would be 10k possible sequences. If we can click a crystal that many times, maybe we can do this as well. Like people can divide range of numbers.

U can keep throwing different codes at it. It is annoying that it straight up doesn't appear after the first number until I go to a different mode in the menu. Don't know if it's just a me issue, but this has been the case for months now. The selectors just don't show up until I enter a different part of the game (eg. Going from inventory to the home page).

There are different codes for each week, and each week has extra numbers to try and throw summoners off the trail. It is unlikely (and I believe to this point proven incorrect) that these clues from week 1 will apply to week 2.
