Because reworking the BG system is going to take months. A simple interim solution (he said the title!!!) would be to lower all the rank requirements by one medal. So basically all the ranks would be two wins. Exceptions being, Bronze III would only be one and the last rank would be four medals instead of 5.
This would lower the amount of grind people like Lagacy need to do to get to GC. Getting them on their journey faster.
And would serve as a victory shield for people with still processing rosters and lower skilled players that are finding it hard to make any progression in victory track.
I also think you could lessen the difficulty for the lower ranks of victory track pretty easily by lowering the hp node to 200%. And just have it upgrade as you hit a certain point.
Just some suggestions to make BG a little more approachable and to smooth out some ripples of this early transition phase.
