Game lag in all modes

I am on an iphone X and have experienced pretty bad lag lately. It only lasts for a second and I only notice it when I am attacking, but it may be happening more it just doesn't affect the gameplay as much. Some of the other issues actually seem a little better, but this is costing me some health during a fight. The game will lag during a combo and I will get hit as soon as it catches up to real time. Anybody else having this issue or am I just special?
