Bear with me, guys. This is some advanced math. If the rewards are wrong, there are two possibilities - the rewards are less than what was posted or the rewards are better than what was posted.

That.....definitely is how statistics works.
(Never tell me the odds unless you've got DNA-level knowledge of how the odds were calculated.)

Yeah, I'm aware of how statistics work. I just wanted to make a funny response to it 🤣
I could see a 4-to-5 gem as exploration reward for all of act 8, but not just 8.2.
I disagree just because we got a 4-5 crystal in carina's v3 so even if we don't get one exploring 8.2, i can see coming in 8.3
Disagree. The entirety of Carinas V3 will be more difficult than anything in act 8. We’ll probably get one from exploring act 8.
I disagree, r1 7*s are slightly better than r4 6*s and kabam is also pumping out a lot of t6cc into the economy. Just last friday we saw 25% t6cc for only 30 dollars that you can buy 4 times which is better than buying the paragon daily deals and trading the stamps for 10% of a random one.
Keep in mind that pretty much 100% of the friday offers are complete trash, so considering there was a lot of t6cc available in one means kabam clearly intends to make r5 materials much more available than they were before.
While Carina's are definitely harder, those came out like 3 months ago, the economy of the game has been moving very fast so really doing Carina's was just for the benefit of an early r5. I expect we will probably be able to r5 another 6* just from 8.2 exploration.

I would usually argue that ,,kabam factor" tilts that 50/50 more towards 30/70 but they surprised me on cyber monday with hero selectors so need to wait and see

I would be both surprised and disappointed if 8.2 exploration rewards don’t include enough mats for an r5. As for those that say Act8 full exploration will probably provide enough mats for an r5, I have to say that they are completely delusional and out of touch with the game economy. By the time Act8 concludes, which with the current pace Kabam releases story content will likely happen in 2024, 7*s r3 might be already a thing. So rewarding only r5 mats for Act8 exploration would be heavily outdated. It makes completely sense an r5 for the latest story quest exploration (8.2). I wouldn’t bet on that, but that is what I expect and be excited for 🙂
Anyone with 2 brain cells would know this is absolutely fake just by looking at it, story rewards usually follow the same sequence so we won't see a r5 gem before the exploration of the whole act8 or at least completion, seeing it at 8.2 makes absolutely no sense

It has taken 5.25 years to get from 6-stars to 7-stars. It took about half of that to get Thronebreaker announced, which only required one r3. I don’t think they’re in a rush to ignore 6r5 in favor of 7 stars. The pool will reflect that.
I think we get t6b and t3a as path rewards, a r4 crystal for completion and a r4 generic gem for exploration. I also predict one 25% t6cc selector and two random 25%s for exploration.
Regardless if it's correct or not, we shouldn't assume that it isn't correct strictly based on the amount of 7* shards. Most end gamers who will do 8.2 first anyway probably already have at least 30k 7* shards. I have 42k and I would say that is below average/average for most seasoned paragon players.
I'm a seasoned paragon player and I have 8k 7* shards at best. 12k shards is too much even if most whales have loaded themselves with 7* shards
So you’ve only duped about 29 6-star champs in the past 6 months? And no max-sig dupes? I don’t know if I would say that qualifies as “seasoned paragon”. A couple people in my alliance have 10 times that many. And they aren’t whales, by any means.
Right I forgot to mention that I don't spend my entire day playing the game (No BGS or arena). So ig I really don't qualify as a "seasoned paragon player"

We'll yeah. If you're basing the scale of the rewards on your own inventory, then you must be someone who's playing the game a lot

I work so dont spend my entire day in arenas and still have 28k 7 star shards. Im average for paragon players id say
If you’re going to try to start a conversation around a specific topic, it is important to provide information relevant to it. These rewards currently, per KT, cannot be verified as from a reliable source at this time.
