Summoner engagement timing

I'm curious, will we get to a point at which summoner engagement lines up conveniently with whatever the bonus mode is? Last week it was all wonky with aq/aw. This week is incursions starting a day after the small reset, but well off the start of this season or whatever (I've already hit a lot of room bonuses). Maybe even if we could get super advanced notice of what mode will be featured, that would make it a bit more convenient.
