There’s really no right answer and no wrong answer. Doom has great utility / power control, Torch does insane damage and Kitty can simply avoid damage. It really depends on what you need. I picked Doom, because he had evaded my account for SO long it was a no brainer. Added bonus, I took him straight to R4 and he’s now the king of my roster.

Kitty. She's a literal cheat code through the game, and can clear any type of content if you're good with intercepts. However, the downside is her rotation is hard to play, and requires perfect timing, skilled interceptions, and a bit of luck.
