Battlegrounds needs restructure

It's ridiculous to have a ladder system and matchmaking. That basically means there are multiple ladders with the same rewards. It's completely illogical. Being a bronze, silver, plat, diamond rank really means nothing without knowing a person's roster. There should simply be the rating you get in gladiators circuit from the start and rewards are dispersed by the number of matches you play. Either that or you have a different ladder for each star level champions. A 6* only ladder,, 5*, etc... and have corresponding rewards for each ladder. That way there's no matchmaking.

Wait, what are you trying to say? Are you saying kabam should remove matchmaking which would mean removing the pvp element of battlegrounds or are you saying that matchmaking shouldn't be based on any parameters?

Also are you basically asking for kabam to remove the competitiveness of the pvp competitive mode? If rewards are based on how many matches you play, then people will just go in with 2*s to spam as many matches as possible and beat anyone else by simply inserting energy refills making the gamemode an even worse version of arena.

The only thing that needs fixed atm with BGs (besides bugs) is having everyone start at the same place. If higher skilled people started higher on the track then the gamemode would become more competitive as a result.

I'm saying they should make an elo rating and then matchmaking is a breeze. What they have now is completely illogical. You can't have a ladder system for rewards, and then matchmake on top of that. That just creates different subsets of rankings. bronze, silver, gold, diamond give zero indication of skill level except in that specific subset of players. Completely illogical. If you have a working elo rating system, you can matchmake anyone together so no one would have to wait minutes for a match and it keeps it completely fair for anyone. It's an established system which should be easy to implement.

Technically there's nothing preventing every participant in bgs to only use decks of 3*s. There's your "parity" for matchmaking.

If you're looking for middling rewards based on middling decks, good luck.

You expect some E-Sports league Elo system on a mobile game that has recently introduced this mode?
