    S99 would be solid long term. He works fine now. But really likes the awakening

    Depends on where you are and what you're doing. You want to build up a roster of champions that can take on different stuff, you want damage, immunities, utility. Your best champs are probably Hulkling, Red Hulk, Angela, and S2099. Maybe Man-Thing or Morningstar for a bleed immune champ.

    is spiderman 2099 overall better than immortal abom? cuz im at act 5 act 1

    The current side quest gives a generic ans class 5* ag. Would suggest first getting those and then you have a few options:
    1. Angela duped and with sigs becomes practically debuff immune
    2. Spiderman 2099 with that dupe is a top 5 science champion.
    3. Black Cat has some great debuffs and ability accuracy reduction potential. She does extemely well on difficult fights.
    4. Hulkling is a top 5 cosmic champ and superb at defense and offense
    5. Spider Ham is extemely underrated. He will consistently get you wins as a defender and attacker
