Dr. Doom or Hercules 6 star whom to choose?

Hi together,

I a few weeks ago I became uncollected. I already have some decent 5* heroes. Now I want to give myself a little push with the 6* post era crystal. Here I am not sure whom to choose, Dr. Doom or Hercules.

At the moment my best 5* mystics are Sasquatch (R4) and Symbiote Supreme (R1). My best comic 5* is Hulkling (R5). So for roster diversification I guess Doom would be better.

I don't have any decent power control champion yet. So here Doom could help. I also have Mr. Fantastic as 5*. Ranking him and Doom up could be a good synergy I guess?! On the other hand I already have Quake (R5) and IBomb (R4) as good Science Champs. So I guess I would have to drop one of the because 3 of 5 heroes being science doesn't sound that great. But of course I could use them for AQ/AW

My impression is Hercules is at the moment seen as the best champ in the game if he is awakened. He can deal a lot of damage and his immortality is a big plus. But I don't run suicides so I don't have his benefits here.

I am trying to get the 6* awakening gem in the current event so I can awaken both.

I have both as 4 stars but haven't played a lot with them because of my good 4*. Only made some arena fights so I don't have a fighting preference yet.

I guess I won't do anything wrong with both of them. But I am still really looking forward to your help. If you could explain your recommendation this would be even better for me.

I was in the same position as you except i was divided between Hercules, Kitty Pryde and Doom.

Plus i had about 60 6*s already and many at r3 or r4. I went for Hercules, duped him and took him straight to r4. No regrets despite having a max sig 5* Hercules and no Doom or Kitty as 5*. I am hoping with Herc to clear more content and keep piling the 6* crystals until i finally get Doom

I went for Herc because he’s a hard carry for me. I got Dr Doom on my alt too. To be honest, they’re both a lot of fun. I’m only Cav so I don’t know who’s the best for clearing. Seeing your roster though, I can tell that you probably don’t have many sigs or AGs. Me personally, I would grab Doom if I couldn’t awaken for a while because Hercules needs awakening and sigs badly. At the end of the day it’s your choice though.
