Thoughts on Void for the Gaunltet Dragonman?

I havent gotten the hang or quake of negs yet, and I don't have overseer, who I've heard is pretty good as a counter for him. Any thoughts on whether void would work against the Grandmaster's Gauntlet Dragonman?

would he work? sure. But it is RNG reliant to get petrifies up early.
