Shards not collecting after going down path

in Bugs and Known Issues
After going down the path for some reason it didn’t collect the shards in the new side quest and I don’t know if I should go through it again or if it’s a visual glitch

    If @Mango53 didn't receive shards for completing a path, than that is clearly a bug.
