Shards not collecting after going down path

After going down the path for some reason it didn’t collect the shards in the new side quest and I don’t know if I should go through it again or if it’s a visual glitch

Removing crystals from the crystal vault and not awarding crystal shards are not the same thing.

If @Mango53 didn't receive shards for completing a path, than that is clearly a bug.
