New Quest

Wasn't there supposed to be a new quest for 7 stars only? I remember in the Live Stream they said something about a 7 start specific quest that when fully explored will give more 7 star shards and they said you need to have a minimum of 5 7-star champions in order to fully explore it.

Was there somewhere that they published the info for 7* coming out events? I wasn’t able to watch the livestream so I haven’t been able to know anything until I’ve seen it come into existence

I don’t believe there was any communication outside of the stream. The info we got was on 7* cost, paragon crystals existing, special event with no details, and a coming quest that requires 7* champs to complete and 5 7* champs to explore. No other details on anything outside of this very basic stuff. We’re learning more as we go.

Definitely don't love the hard cap on 5 7* champs necessary to explore. I gett the champion restriction (to a point), but the number of them swings really far into the old Act 6 territory where it would gate specific classes of specific rarities, etc.

Or maybe I'm just mad because I'm sitting at 4..... although I assume I can get closer to 5 by completing the new quest. Really, they should have dropped more info about it today to have increased the hype.

I agree on the latter half for sure. As far as the gate for exploration, I’m relatively okay with it because it’s permanent content. Part of the problem with the Act 6 gates is you were limited by both star level and by specific nodes requiring that you have specific champs ranked up at the star level. This should hopefully be less champ specific since the pool is so incredibly small and it’s all you have to work with.
