Joined new alliance. Out of 7 star event for the new alliance.

I get its probably mine fault. I should have know. Wish i would have been told somewhere. I cant find any info about joining after the event starts you can get any rewards at all. Please show me if i did. Also Battlegrounds is only 7 days after joining to contribute.
