Another free week of map 7 and 8 ?

So I received another in-game mail about no cost for map 7 and 8. The thing is I don't trust it, it feels like a system error on kabams end cause I also received delayed AW mail for the 2nd time.
So what's up with that ?

    Considering the mail says the free week is being extended, I'll assume it means the free week is being extended to the next cycle of AQ due to the 7* defenders having higher stats than anticipated in the previous cycle
