Heavy Canceling into Special Attacks is Failing

Running on an iPhone 13 Pro, on iOS 16.4.1 (a). Issue is occurring using both Wifi and Cellular on AT&T. Game is running 39.0.0.

Issue is occurring in Shooting Stars quest, EQ, and SQ.

My current champions that are being affected are my r1 level 25 7* Wong (0 sig), and my r4 level 55 6* Scorpion (100 sig). No boosts, aside from the sigil.

While using Wong and Scorpion, part of their kits is their abilities to charge heavy attacks, and before the attack is executed, cancel into a special attack to go Unblockable on sp2 (Wong) and add duration to debuffs and extra burst damage on sp2 (Scorpion).

This heavy cancel issue is disallowing the ability to go straight into the special, taking away the ability to gain extra damage, or having to take damage from being open.

Any ideas on what could be happening?

Truly don’t feel like creating a new thread, and therefore clutter the forums, so I’ll add this here.

Having some issues dexing with BWDO and Aegon in 8.2. Same operating, same device, same internet.

The “input issues” are becoming more and more prevalent and more and more debilitating. I really want to be able to play the game whilst turning a blind eye, and staying patient, but that becomes harder every day.

I love MCOC, and it is not lost on me the time that the team puts into the game to make it the best it can be. It just does not feel like enough. I don’t know if it’s server cramping due to the 7 star celebration, or if there’s something wrong with animations, or something wrong with the engine.

On my end, I can’t perform basic masteries. It’s more and more annoying every day.

Take care of yourselves. Don’t overwork your staffs. But please, have some transparency, give us some updates on what’s happening.
