Nick Fury and Dr Doom Synergy

Are you able to use both of them at the same time? Because when I'm questing now I don't seem to be getting either of the boosts

    Nick synergy only works with Hero tags. Doom isn’t a hero. Dooms synergy only works on himself and depends on how many teammates are KOd.

    Ohh okay I never realized that was the wording for nicks synergy. I did know Dooms synergy is only for himself though and Im not getting the attack boost when my champs are KOd. Is it cause I'm using Fury in the team?
