Skeptical about opening featured crystals when they drop

The game has been very unstable ever since the 7*s were added. I lost 4 crystals recently, submitted a ticket as well but have not got any reply from the game team and its been 36 hrs @Kabam Miike @Kabam Jax .
The featured drops in less than 2 days and I’m really excited to open the saved up shards but I’m really skeptical to open them because I’m worried i might lose more and won’t get them back. 😕

    The only time I have lost crystals was when the current 6* featured dropped due to server overload since everyone was trying to open theirs at the same time. Hasn't happened to me outside of that. The easiest solution would be to wait a couple of hours to open yours
