Threat level 5 difficulty

I was wondering if it was just me, or did other sumonners find week 3 (mantis) to be way harder than weeks 1,2 and 4. Not just the boss, but many of the other fights. For me, this particular map felt like it should be threat level 6, if there was such a thing. Anyone else?

I found 2 and 4 much easier, but that may be based on what champs I have the proper counters for.

A bit, but that seemed to be due to the defenders themselves more than anything else, and probably less about them being intrinsically harder overall and more about them being more dependent on having suitable counters.

I thought it was pretty easy, just build to a sp2

ssshhhhh, it's over with. we don't talk about it... the bug is swept under the rug like everything else!

LET'S KEEP SPENDING MONEY AND GRINDING UNTIL ANOTHER BUG AND THEN WE COMPLAIN; ENDLESS CYCLE CAUSE NOTHING GETS DONE.

To the best of my knowledge, the only thing that seemed to be an issue was the L3 chain from a Combo, and based on reports that's been a thing before.
Otherwise it was a particularly challenging Champ/Node pairing.

THEN GET ON KABAM TO FIX IT! that's the issue, because there is a workaround that's the reason the bug is still there... if there is a workaround everything just gets swept under the rug. I guarantee you if the bug benefited us in ANYWAY it would have been fixed faster than you can complete it.
IT IS NOT OUR JOB TO DO A WORKAROUND!!

They should have made week 3, week 4 and week 4, week 3.

Week 3 was most challenging, but not that difficult. White Magneto and doom were good choices. Keep mantis around sp2 and she becomes easier, otherwise she’s like encroaching stu after sp1.

Week 4 was super easy… 😂, none of those champs were difficult

Its not a job at all, unless you are posting from a Chinese work camp. It is a game. Yes the game has bugs and yes they can be quite annoying at times, but I've played basketball with underinflated balls. I've played chess with missing pieces I've replaced with rocks. I've played cards for hours with decks that looked like they survived nuclear detonations. Nothing is perfect.

Also, if you're one of those "Kabam only fixes bugs that benefit them" people, please take that back to whatever echo chamber it came from. I don't feel like refuting that one on a Friday afternoon, so if you make me, it is not going to be pretty. Short answer is: only people who are stuck in their own heads listening to their own anger and complaints echo can assert that with a straight face. It has been trivially disproven time and time again. The decision to address a bug on an emergency basis is based on the magnitude of the damage the bug can do, not which way it goes. They let just as much slide that benefits players, like most recently the bug that let Thronebreaker players into what was supposed to be a Paragon only quest.

    Can't believe I agreed twice with @GroundedWisdom in a single thread 😉

I really don't understand the struggle, I used 4 different champs to solo the mantis. It really wasn't that bad, any mutant or heavychitter can do it. Hell, OG Black Panther did it for me when I went in blind.

I'd say it's more champ specific and you need to keep a thing or two in mind when fighting. If you strategize well it's a fun fight. It was horrible for me at first and most difficult one but then i read somewhere on forums that use bishop. I could always one shot that mantis after that. It's definitely annoying to be power locked but overall i enjoyed the challenge.

Mantis was so easy. It was literally the same way you would fight bishop (push to sp2 using four hit combos and blocking immediately after so they don't throw it) but much, much easier as the Sp2 isn't unblockable and is very hard to NOT dex. I genuinely can't understand why people struggled on this

To be honest I expected Threat Level 5 to be harder. Week 3 was the only one I couldn't just mindlessly do
