Battlegrounds Matchmaking

I'm confused why battlegrounds matchmaking barely takes rosters into account. Imo it should be almost 100% roster based. It's extremely difficult trying to progress when my opponent's lowest champion is along my top ones. How far you've progressed into vt or gc has a multitude of factors that aren't just skill such as time, matchmaking, and wanting to play. It isn't fair that I, a newly paragon player with 1 7star and 3 r4s and 2r3s, have to fight fairly experienced players with an entire deck of r3s, r4s, and 7stars. For me personally its a combination of 2 separate issues. 1. My roster is just bad in comparison. Meta champs can be difficult to get especially with the amount of rng there is in crystals. 2. I can't get a good mastery set up because not only do I not have enough units to buy mastery cores for masteries I haven't unlocked but I'm not level 60 so most of the time I can't get enough points to fill out what I need to. I have virtually no way to progress except spend thousands of dollars on the game as my roster can't reasonably get through act content as it isn't large enough and kabam jesus hasn't blessed me with enough skill champs or counters to many of the nodes.
