Hey, are you really asking us to tell everyone in the alliance to hit 350-400k in BG next season?

I'm at a bit of a loss here,, although the gesture is nice that you'll be adding the AW rewards to BGs for this season ONLY. Is it really possible / realistic to ask every member in the alliance to hit 350-400k?

Why don't you pull the reward levels a bit down, instead of creating a situation where alliances might lose players due to this NEW requirement.

That’s only for one season, when AW will be unavailable. There will be nothing really to do in the game, so I think it’s not a problem to do a couple more fights in BGs.

I love this idea is better than doing nothing. This is a win as far as am concerned.

My Alliance take part in AW but pretty much everyone hates BGs. We’ve collectively achieved 600k for the whole season so far. 100% of those play AW is effected by the slowdown in flow of rewards but likelihood a much smaller proportion of AW Players will be able to achieve these rewards. Obviously those at the top of the game won’t have any issues, so it’s nice they will still be catered for.

Although it’s only a week delay so pffft, I’m not that fussed, it just doesn’t feel like a really fair and equitable adjustment for all.

I think a fair assumption is 50% win rate because that's what the system is based on, more or less.

We're a p4 alliance and I think this replacement is more of an inconvenience for a lot of the members.

That's pretty much how I feel as well.

I'm a very consistent 300-350k player but to ask everyone to do it, is going to be tough.

Yep. I can imagine P1/Masters it will probably be a breeze as they likely put those numbers up anyway. For everyone else, it’s actually a hell of a lot of effort. For those who don’t do BG, they are getting penalised.

I’ve noticed it’s taking 30-45 seconds to find matches in BG this season. First few seasons it was 15 seconds max. Not sure if this is a way to try and get people to play more BG.

Let’s say because of the win rate you need 2k of eldersmarks to get the 100k of points. You’d have to spend 945 units to get them, others side you’re stuck using energy. And that’s if you typically stop at 300k of points. I’ve only put 60k points this season (I’m not spending on elders marks) and there’s no one else in my Alliance who’ll get close to earning these rewards.

Again, I don’t think delaying the rewards by a week is a huge loss, but I do think kabam is implementing benefits pretty much only those already at the top end of the MCOC pool. It would have been fairer to just keep the delay and tell us all to live with it and suck it up.

They literally aren't asking you to do the last 2 milestones tho. It's there for alliances who want/can hit it, it's not meant for every alliance to hit lol

Personally I think an alliance engagement event for doing AQ and off season war would've been far better. Probably too much work tho.

I rarely play AW so this doesn’t really impact me but this seems like a ploy to drive BG play up. If there are already countless threads on dropped BG matches, I can only imagine how many more we’ll see with a bunch more players trying to meet milestones.

Yes they aren't asking, that's correct.

However, we do AW seriously and have a minimum BG requirement as well, all we can do is hope people will go for those solo rewards and get the alliance score up without pressuring anyone to score more. Don't want to scare members to leave.

My Ally doesn't care very much for Battlegrounds, and neither do I... I just play the 3 matches every 2 days, not caring about if I win or lose matches. So the supposed rewards increase in Battlegrounds are useless to me... It would make more sense to send the same tier rewards we get in season 42 as a "correction" package...

It’s an L for me especially with BG being the fire pit it has been. But I will say it’s a good way to get engagement numbers up.

I’ve now read the post and I’m indifferent. It prob won’t change what I do

It's a problem for people like me, who despise bgs and I only get my 50k alliance bg requirement and that's it, I hate the mode and everything about it, so I do agree with rockykoston, pull the milestones down a wee bit, since we're having to do more bgs for our aw rewards however it does seem like a great idea if you actually like bgs so it's a good idea just not for everyone unfortunately.

Boosting BG rewards to make for the War losses is a very big L. I m pretty sure that many alliances will force their members to do minimum requirements in BGs for the season, a mode that s full of bugs, unfair matchmaking (debatable), with a huge bump in time needed to achieve milestone similar to AW rewards. In war you play for like, 15 minutes/day, for BGs you ll need 2 hours if you use energy. Or you buy elders marks, another L for those who don't play Battlegrounds in general. Also, no loyalty.

You could have boosted the off season war session rewards, but no, you want players to consume even more time, or make a youtubers' fiesta.(I couldn't care less watching whaletubers showing off their shiny r2 7 stars in GC, when I have an error disconnected message every 3 BG fights.)

Imagine if the Victory Track nodes of season 9 are some total BS nodes that most players won't even want to play with
It would be a total D move but not something we don't expect from them

When you climb up victory track fights get hard with elder mark It would great if they are placed at 150k,175k,200k milestones

Easily 100 to 115 matches.

Around 1100 minutes of play, that's about 18 hours.

As for war -
Average person does no more than 6-7 fights per war, each fight takes around or less than 2 minutes.

That's 15 minutes per war including placement.
12 wars in a season. That's 3 hours.
Or being generous let's say 4 hours.

If they really want to make up the rewards, they should be either given within the first few milestones or directly in the mailbox. Not the last few where you need some 45 minutes of play daily.

What I don’t like is that you have to rely on 29 other members (to play a game mode they probably don’t like) to help get the bulk of the alliance war rewards we will miss out on. Why can’t they just put all the rewards behind the solo event then at least it’s in our own hands. Silly decision 🤦🏻‍♂️

Completely agree. I'm regularly shuffling war defence and normally take 9 to 10 fights per war and don't get close to 4 hours over a season.

And while I used to moan about war being stressful, it's got nothing on BGs....

i see some are assuming that BGs is that fun to do in its current state. even with the changes (and I am a fan of what they did) .. there are still issues with the mode that frustrate you. so expecting people to play more of a sometimes unplayable mode is a bit much to me.

The entitlement is real. They could have just taken AW offline.

What is wrong with people? Even a little effort to get a generic AND a class gem is something people can find something to complain about.

That's acceptable if they take AW down and let it be there.

The reasoning that they don't want people to lose out on rewards and yet put them up so high that even the top alliances will have a tough time getting there is the issue.

The time investment is also totally different between the 2 modes as already pointed out in this thread.
