Having protection on a champ only taken off by use of a striker is terrible. I was using my R4 valk on she hulk. She was gaining power by striking block. But not her spirit gauge. I thought relics weren’t going to be a big deal for players. It seems like you are constantly moving more and more roadblocks in fights that need strikers while telling us they won’t be a big deal. IF they are becoming more of a “need” in content, where are our guides on them? Content creators barely have videos on relics and best champs to use them on. When will they be more available to non-whale players? I’m not spending money (I know that basically writes my complaint off to Kabam and their new business model) but I barely get shard for relics so having these roadblocks severely prevents me from completing or even wanting to get content done

I agree. Can’t say in one breath that relics are optional and then in another create nodes that hamper someone’s ability to clear content without one. Not that the content can’t be done without them, but a player should never be downgraded because they aren’t using one. It is one thing to give an extra bonus to someone with a relic, it’s another to put limits when they aren’t used.

Looking further into 8.3 it appears 2 of the 3 lines in each map have some form of striker nodes. 1 of which is a form of “disarm” or “capture” node. So those will hinder players who have not made relics a priority either by sheer lack of desire for them or because Kabam said relics weren’t going to be a big deal. Sooo great

This path was horrible design. You can’t juggle a striker activation with your special rotation and monitor protection. It doesn’t work. It screws up the rotation of most champions, especially if they need an SP1 like Attuma. Fury destroys the path, because he only needs his SP2 and 4th Light bleeds. But take anybody else in …

That's one reason I'm down a bit on Valk -- she doesn't work on a lot of content because you don't want to heavy or she's penalized for not hitting someone.

I looked to change my relics to different champs for that path. However in my main account they have changed, but not in the beta. I tried to change them in both main & beta, but they’re still available in main account but not in the beta. This means if I want to attempt 5hat path the weapon will never be disabled. I have cleared it to boss, but would like to do it with relics available doing what the path/nodes are set up for
