AQ Blackout period. Still needed!?

With season 4 and reshuffling of the old tier systems, i must say you guys did a really good job. The rewards are nice, and no more alliances hopping.

But, now that we have this system, the blackout system isn't needed any more. If it must be there, at least the duration is too long for the expert tier.

Sometimes, real life comes up and you have to leave your alliance for a couple days or a week, or maybe you've overgrown and want to join a new alliance, you get a 10-day blackout period for AQ rank rewards which is unfair. Putting in all that effort, doing map 6s, and then getting nothing in the end.

If you don't want to remove it, at least reduce the duration to 6 days like SA. That way if you join an alliance a couple days before start of AQ, you can qualify for the rewards.

It stops/prevents/inhibits other exploits like swapping for AW rewards and other event milestones.

That is a whole other topic and related to AW. That's because the rewards in Tier 1 and Tiers 4-7 are not much different, but the difference in difficulty b/w those tiers is crazy. That's why alliances jump from tier 1 to a lower one and win all the wars without spending much.

Also, those allys have a T4ccs expiring so they don't care about AQ rewards.

What other event milestones? All alliance events are pretty underwhelming now, except maybe SA.

The 72 hour events usually have a T1a as the second to last milestone. Only one I could think of that people with T4CC expiring would care about.

Blackout periods no longer serve a meaningful purpose for AQ.
