40 points toward BG alliance event

How is this possible? None of the how to earn points things are this low.

Alliance event has been giving less points so maybe it gave a bit less points when he lost with energy

It’s bugged.
Both alliance and solo BGs events scoring are bugged.
There are several posts about that in forums.
I have photo proof of my first five season Elder Marks matches and the incorrect solo score that counted 😠
When the dust from 4th July sales settles, something might be done about this 😉
