When can we move on from gmc shards in arena milestones?

So now that we have 7 stars in abundance and with paragon crystals 6 stars are becoming easier and easier to come by, when will we be migrating from gmc shards to atleast cav crystal shards in arena milestones? I feel like we've spent plenty of time now with the current milestone rewards, atleast like a year ago arena was for mainly units but also the crystals you got were still decent, now its purely units and makes it a lot less fun. Has there been any whispers of this changing any time soon?

I hope sometime soon… seems like if they could do a minor tune-up to rank rewards they coulda done some fixes to milestones.

I honestly think the shards in the rewards should be progression based.

Paragon, TB and Cav get Cav shards.
UC and under get GMC shards.

Arenas are badly outdated even in the amount of units after the July 4th unit deals. If 36k is now the max spend, there are very few that can grind that much even with spending small amounts here and there,

Of course, we still have complete trash arenas like Sundays that are completely ignored by Kabam… so I am guessing we will still be discussing these same arenas next July 4th too.
