Dropped Inputs Are Still A Massive Issue

I just hopped on long enough to use up my energy in AQ and ran my usual path. The third fight, a tech Adaptoid, generally one of the easiest fights in the entire quest, just mopped the floor with my CMM due to the game just not registering ANY command prompts half way through the fight. I got the adaptoid down to about 50% no problem when suddenly, Parry failed to activate, holding block did nothing. At the end of his five hit combo, I swiped right to take advantage of the opening, again, NO response, took another five hit combo, straight into an SP1. A few more combos to the face, straight to an SP2 which finished off my CMM. Inputs completely shutdown and were totally unresponsive. I know the game didn't freeze or crash because it had no problems letting me tap out of the defeat screen and select my next champion, etc. But what's the point now? I've lost one third of my team for the entire first day of AQ in an early fight in the first section, and again, one of the easiest fights, all because I had zero control over my champion.
Kabam, I know you like to play the blame game and pass the buck, you like to deny dropped inputs even exist, and if they do exist, it's either the player's fault, or an issue with the device we are using. Your app is the only one on my phone that does this, I do NOT have response and input issues from ANY other app, only yours. Sure you could somehow twist it to make it a "user error" but again, this fight is never an issue and players don't just suddenly become stupid and completely forget how to tap and swipe halfway through a fight.
If you can't invest even just a TINY bit of that juicy income from major deals like Fun in the Sun and Cyber Weekend (among others) to seriously investigate or fix the input issues, what's the point of playing this game? What are you using all that money for if not to make the player experience better and more reliable? Why should I even keep the game on my phone when half the time, your game won't even let me play it? Why should players invest time and money to a game that they know could just screw them at any given point, even in the easiest fights?
I genuinely love this game and want to spend more time in it, but I do not have the motivation nor do I see the purpose of doing so in its current state.
