Weak Pi players, Slipping between Battlegrounds Victory Track Advancement.

First off, I've noticed as I advanced in battlegrounds season 8 & 9, starting at Gold 1 and higher, I've seen low 3 star players decks showing up, of course they immediately forfeit the match to me, but out of CURIOSITY, how are they advancing to the higher achievement level, are they doing something suspicious? There should be a fair system, where each class should fight as like boxing weight class. Don't get me wrong, I'm thankful for easy no fight wins. But I'm still CURIOUS how are they advancing so high. Maybe I've missed the Memo in the forums. If so my bad. ( But if you have encountered this, please respond and explain what is happening.. Thanks )

All of your suspicions and you can’t consider the fact that players can change their decks around whenever they want? It most likely players attempting to farm points by purposely losing matches with energy to get easier matches with elders marks. Within the rules, just a bit meh of an approach to a competitive game mode.
