Some rank up advice for battlegrounds

So I’ve already decided to take mantis and shuri up, but I have a lot of champs sitting at rank 1 right now that I’d also like to invest in. A lot of these champs would’ve already gone up if they were awakened (sassy, hype) but I’m not sure if they’re still worth the investment unduped. I have one generic to use as well

Depends what you're looking for.
Offense: Kitty (if you have a generic gem she's definitely worth it), Sunspot, Stark Spidey, OG Hulk, Negative.
Defense: Havok, Chavez, Zemo (and I think Annihilus is also going to be pretty annoying next BGs season if you don't draft a good counter so he might be worth ranking up).

You have some nice dual use champions that can be placed both on offense and defense: Havok, Chavez, Kitty, Hyperion, and Shuri would be my first rank ups (not in any particular order).

If you plan on using Kitty, she is worth using the generic on.

Thanks! Chavez would’ve gone up already if I didn’t have her as a 7*. I think Zemo needs the dupe for defense right? I’ll definitely keep all those suggestions in mind though!

Oh then yeah don't invest on the 6*, 7* is fine.
As for Zemo, not necessarily, the second he starts spamming sp1 you basically can't block anymore those disorients are strong awakened or unawakened, plus next meta is going to have Hard Knock Life (you get a disorient every time you parry) so it's going to make blocking against him even worse. Even on this meta my 6* r3 almost always gets me wins so yeah great option!

Zemo does want dupe for defense, those critical hits through block are insanely punishing if you make a mistake. I'd go for Mantis, Odin, Hulk, and Mr. Negative. Shuri is also good.

Where are you in 7* gain? Both Shuri and Mantis (and Hulk, America, Elsa, Joe, Mysterio, Terrax, ect.) are in the basic pool so it might be wiser to focus on ranking the other 6* champs. If you're not close to a 7* and need to rank one of them then go for it but if it's just for BGs I'd prolly wait.

I have 3 7* and I think I can get one every 2-3 months at this point. I took Shuri up but I’ll probably hold off on the rest of the 7* available champs for now
